Protection & Certification
Are Denimotto jackets and jeans actually safe?

The Kevlar lining provides AAA-class abrasion resistance — the highest class under EN 17092. For impact protection at joints and bones, you add CE Level 1 or 2 armor in the built-in pockets: Level 2 for highway, Level 1 for city. Always pair with a helmet and proper boots. Deep dive: the Safety Guide.

Is the armor included?

Depends on the product. Some ship with CE Level 1 armor pre-installed; others ship armor-ready so you choose your rating. Inclusion is stated on every product page. Pockets fit D3O, SAS-TEC, and most standard CE inserts.

Who verifies your certifications?

Independent ISO-17025 accredited laboratories — not self-declaration. We explain the test classes in plain language in the Safety Guide and Journal.

Sizing & Fit
How does sizing work?

Every product page has a fit description (slim, regular, relaxed) and a body-measurement chart. For Kevlar-lined jeans, size down a half-size from your normal jean — the denim stretches in. Full charts and measuring steps: Size Guide.

How does custom made-to-order work?

A one-off pattern — not an alteration — for builds outside the standard chart. From $280 with a 3–4 week lead time, covered by the 60-day riding-position guarantee and warranted against manufacturing defects. Start at Custom Made-to-Order.

What is the 60-day riding-position guarantee?

Ride the gear for up to 60 days — if the fit doesn't work in your actual riding position, we make it right. Riding fit can only be judged on the bike.

Orders & Shipping
When does my order ship for free?

US orders over $250 ship free from Woodbridge, VA. Carrier options and timing: Shipping Policy.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes — and exchanges are free worldwide. Duties and delivery windows vary by destination; details in the Shipping Policy.

How long do custom orders take?

3–4 weeks from confirmed measurements to dispatch — each custom piece is cut as a one-off pattern.

Returns & Exchanges
What is the return policy?

30 days, unworn, tags on. US returns are free. Exchanges are free worldwide — we send the new size before yours arrives back. Sale items are final. Custom pieces are non-returnable for fit but covered against manufacturing defects. Full terms: Refund Policy.

How do I start a return or exchange?

Email support@denimotto.com with your order number, or use the contact form. We'll send instructions — don't ship anything back before that.

Care & Lifespan
How do I care for the gear?

Cold water, inside-out, mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener, no tumble drying. Remove armor before washing, air dry. Treated correctly, a pair lasts 5–10 years.

Should I keep riding gear after a crash?

No. Aramid that has taken a real slide has spent its protective capacity even when it looks intact — retire it and replace it.

No matches. Try a shorter word — or ask us directly.
