Size Guide - Denimotto

Finding the right size is essential for comfort, protection, and performance. Our biker jeans and jackets are designed specifically for riding, which means they fit differently from everyday fashion garments. Please review the guide below to find your perfect fit.

THE TWO-POSITION FIT PRINCIPLE

A jean or jacket that fits perfectly when you're standing usually fits poorly on the bike. When you lean forward into the bars, your back gets longer, your elbows get shorter, your knees bend. Gear cut for standing leaves your wrists and lower back exposed right when it matters most.

Denimotto pieces are cut longer in the back and sleeves than fashion equivalents, and the fit is calibrated for the riding position. Standing in them, you'll feel a bit of slack. That's correct.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

  1. Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, arms relaxed at sides. Don't pull tight.
  2. Waist: Measure where you actually wear your jeans, not at your natural waist. Add 1 cm if between sizes.
  3. Hip: Measure around the widest part of your hips. For women, this is usually 3–5 cm wider than waist.
  4. Inseam: Inside leg from crotch to ankle bone. Wear your usual riding boots—they affect the right length.

THE FOUR SIZING RULES

  1. Rule 1 – If in doubt, size down
Our sizing follows standard motorcycle-gear sizing. Since the waist runs close to true size, choose your normal size.
  2. Rule 2 – Your jacket should touch the neck
A loosely-fitted collar doesn't work at speed. Order your normal size. If you're between sizes, size up.
  3. Rule 3 – Layering: jacket fit allows a T-shirt
Our jackets are cut to accommodate a thin layer underneath. If you plan to layer a hoodie or thick sweater, size up.
  4. Rule 4 – Women's jeans ride up 1–2 cm in riding position
The fit is normal while standing. Slight rise in the inseam is expected when seated on the bike.
