BIKER JEANS FOR MEN

Real protection. Kevlar (aramid fiber) is several times stronger than steel by weight at resisting abrasion. The catch is placement — jeans with Kevlar only at hips and knees protect those zones, not the whole leg. Our riding jeans are lined in the slide-prone areas, which is where the data says crashes happen.

Double-layer (lined) means a separate Kevlar layer is sewn behind the denim at the slide zones. That's the more affordable approach and what most of our jeans use. Single-layer means Kevlar fibers woven directly into the denim — less bulk, more breathable, more expensive. Both protect; the choice is about feel and budget.

A touch snug standing, comfortable in the riding position. Loose jeans can shift in a slide and expose unprotected skin. Most riders size down half to one size from their normal jean for this reason. Raw selvedge stretches in, so size down further — see the complete jeans sizing guide.

Raw denim stretches about an inch at the waist and half an inch in length over the first 30 wears. Pre-washed denim stretches much less. Stretch panels (where present) recover, so they don't bag out.

Designed for 8+ hour rides. The Kevlar lining is sewn flat so it doesn't dig in. Seams are bar-tacked at stress points. Stretch panels at the crotch and behind the knee help in the riding position. Many riders wear them straight through a workday after their commute — pair them with one of our denim moto jackets for a full on-bike-to-office wardrobe.
