$120 Kevlar jeans almost always have a corner cut. Here's where we don't cut ours — the three engineering choices that drive most of our cost, and most of why the gear actually works.

DuPont™ Kevlar®, not generic aramid

The original aramid fiber, used by every credible riding-pants brand. Costs more per meter than generic aramid lookalikes. Lasts longer, slides further, doesn't degrade after 50 washes.

Independent abrasion testing

Every fabric we use is tested by an ISO-17025 accredited lab — not by us, not by our supplier. The certificate is on the product page. The test costs us €500–1,500 per fabric. We do it anyway.

YKK hardware + bar-tacked stitching

Zippers and seams are where cheap riding pants fail first. Snapped zipper at 60mph isn't a fashion problem. YKK Excella throughout. Triple-needle chain stitch at every load-bearing seam.

Made-to-Order

Cut to your measurements.

Same construction. Same Kevlar®. Same armor pockets. Your exact sizing — the differentiator Pando Moto and Bull-it don't offer.

Standard sizing fits most riders. It doesn't fit all of them. Long inseams, short inseams, athletic thighs on a slim waist, cropped women's cuts — if the size chart fails you, we cut around you instead.

Made-to-order pieces run on the same production line as the standard catalog: identical DuPont™ Kevlar® coverage, identical CE armor pocket placement, identical bar-tack construction.

Use the guided measurement form — a tape measure and five minutes. We flag anything that looks off before cutting.

Pattern confirmation

The workshop drafts your pattern and confirms fit intent (slim, regular, relaxed) by email before fabric is cut.

Custom pieces are non-returnable for fit — that's why step 02 exists — but fully covered against manufacturing defects.

The same handful of questions come up over and over. Honest answers — no marketing voice. If something's missing, the workshop is one email away.

The Kevlar lining provides AAA-class abrasion resistance — the highest class under EN 17092. For impact protection (joints and bones), you add CE Level 1 or 2 armor in the built-in pockets. We recommend Level 2 for highway riding, Level 1 for city. Always pair with a helmet and proper boots.

Depends on the product. Some pieces ship with CE Level 1 armor pre-installed. Others ship armor-ready so you can choose your rating. Armor inclusion is listed on every product page. The pockets fit D3O, SAS-TEC, and most standard CE inserts.

Every product page has a fit description (slim, regular, relaxed) and body-measurement chart. For Kevlar-lined jeans, size down a half-size from your normal jean — the denim stretches in. Made-to-order custom sizing is available on most pieces.

All three brands make AAA-class riding denim. Our differentiators: made-to-order custom sizing, a broader vest range including patch-ready backs, and a lower price band for equivalent protection.

30 days, unworn, tags on. US returns are free. Exchanges are free worldwide — we send the new size before yours arrives back. Sale items are final. Custom-made pieces are non-returnable for fit but covered against manufacturing defects.

Cold water, inside-out, mild detergent. No bleach, no fabric softener, no tumble drying. Remove armor before washing. Air dry. Treated correctly, a pair lasts 5–10 years.
